With the generous support of UNC Asheville, SkillSet is primarily funded by grants from organizations that are committed to improving educational outcomes for young people. Supporting our work means providing students quality STEAM educational programming, with a low teacher to student ratio, led by a team of passionate and committed industry and educational professionals.
Your support helps us provide free or reduced-cost programming for youth and adults, purchase new tools and materials, pay our talented instructors, and expand our impact to broader audiences.
Our programming is not just limited to our location, the STEAM Studio at UNC Asheville; through strategic community partnerships, our instructors, tools, and materials travel into the community to serve and support the needs of our learners.
